Tai Ji - in Basel -
in English !
What is Tai Ji?

Tai Ji is a beautiful moving form of meditation. Coming from China, it is one of the more effective methods for maintaining health. It is used by people of ALL ages, young and old. There are variations in the form that can be used for Martial Arts, variations for body health and variations for spiritual practice as well.

The Living Tao style is a southern "Village Style" characterized by flowing movements that are often done slowly. Our form and teaching emphasizes the awareness of Qi (energy) and how it can be used effectively to enjoy life in a more harmonious way.

The forms include the "5-Elements" and "the circles". In this beginner course, you will be introduced to the basic concepts of energy and right from the beginning be treated to the use of the form as meditation. There are a few people already in this class that will be able to help the new people to learn.
